Terrain Response 2
Terrain response comprises a
number of different driving programs that can be
selected to suit the current terrain, driving
conditions, or driving style.
Each driving program alters various vehicle settings,
including suspension height, engine speed, and the
amount of steering effort required.
Terrain response works in conjunction with the Hill
Descent Control (HDC) and Dynamic Stability Control
(DSC) systems to further enhance the vehicle’s
capabilities.
Terrain Response 2 adds the AUTO program to the existing
options; this terrain response setting automatically
selects the most appropriate driving program for the
prevailing conditions.
Configurable Terrain Response
The configurable terrain
response feature allows the user to create a unique
off-road terrain response profile. Up to four profiles
can be created.
A unique terrain response profile can be selected in the
same way as a standard terrain response driving program.
The last used profile is automatically selected.
Terrain Response - Dynamic Mode
Terrain response comprises a
number of different driving programs that can be
selected to suit the current terrain, driving
conditions, or driving style.
Select the dynamic driving program to co-ordinate the
vehicle's control systems to contribute to a more
dynamic driving experience. If your Defender is equipped
with the Ambient Lighting option, selecting Dynamic will
switch the internal lighting colour to red.
Unlocking the Dynamic driving mode also enables the
Dynamic-I configurable options which allow you to
fine-tune the responsiveness of the throttle, steering,
gear shift, and suspension systems.
